FWSA Convention:  It's time to plan... plan to attend, plan to prepare, plan to use the convention to enhance and improve club activities over the coming years.  FWSA specializes in supporting clubs to improve and become excellent community assests to your city or to the ski industry.  All clubs wishing to enter the competitions will wish to begin now to meet the fast approaching deadlines that include websites, newsletters, and club activities.

Bogus Basin Ski Club Invites others to join their trip to Italy in 2012! Thanks to Bogus Basin Ski Club for their invitation.  Check out the details of this 8 day trip to Italy on the "Trips" page.

Skier Safety News: Check out our "Safety" page to see the latest updates concerning helmet laws and suggested rules for 2011.  Our concerns as an industry change rapidly and this is one area that many states are seriously giving more consideration to.  While you are there, take the FWSA skin cancer awareness test!

Telluride Trip News and awards: This year's trip was voted to be "Awesome!" by those who attended.  The winner of the Crazy Sunglasses contest at the Saturday night part and silent auction was Joe Burgess... congratulations Joe and thanks to all those who played along and wore their favorite sunglasses.  The winner of the NASTAR race on Sunday, as an individual racer (in other words... he's FAST!) was Dan Baxter of Cheyenne Ski Club.  Congratulations to Dan as he flew down the course in perfect form... way to go Dan!  Fun was had by all and we are already planning fun for next year's trip. Check out the great photos by Linda and Dan on the Trips page.

WE NEED YOU!  We need volunteers who would like to participate in the operations of our council.  Many opening exist and they are reasonably easy tasks (Membership, Media, Secretary).  If you have a few minutes each month to help us out, you could hold a seat on the board or help on a committee to make sure the council continues to join together to make skiing fun!  Won't you please join us?  No previous experience necessary! If you are interested, please contact Don.
